RESOLUTION SETTING THE TIIVIE AND PLACE FOR A PUBLIC
HEARING FOR TIIE PURPOSE OF SOLICITING WRITTEN AND ORAL
COMMENTS ON AMENDING TI3E CITY OF rAIRFAX
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN
WHERTAS, the City of Fairfax will be reviewing �nd possibly revising the Futus-e Land Use Map,
and;
WHEREAS, the City of Fairfax Planning and Zoning Commission has reviewed said changes and
has recommended that the council adopt said revisions, and;
WHER�AS, Iowa Code requires a public hearing concerning revision to the rairfax
Coinprehensive Plan, and;
WHER�AS, interested residents or taxpayers having con�ments for or against the proposed
revisions to the Tairfax Comprehensive Plan in�y appear and be heard at the public hearing at the city
council meeting on February 13, 2024 at 6:00 PM at Fairfax City Hall �t 300 80'�' Street Court, Fairfax,
Iowa
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT 1tESOLVED by the City Couneil of the City of Fairfax, Iowa, that
this confirms that the city council order the publication of a notice of public he�ring to be held on February
13, 2024, pertaining to revising the Fairfax Comprehensive Plan.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk/Treasut-er are hereby authorized
and directed to execute said resolution.
