RESOLUTION SETTING THE TIME AND PLACE F'OR A PUBLIC
HEARING FOR THE PURPOSE OF SOLICITING WRITTEN AND ORAL
COMMENTS ON AMENDING THE CITY OF FAIRFAX ZONING CODE
WHEREAS, the City of Fairfax will be reviewing �nd possibly revising the Fairfax Zoniilg Code,
and;
WHEREAS, the City of Fairfax Planning and Zoning Commission has reviewed said changes and
has recommended that the council adopt said revisions, and;
WHEREAS, Iowa Code requires a public hearing concerning revision to the Fairfax Zoning Code.
WHEREAS, interested residents or taxpayers having comments for or against the proposed
revisions to the Fairfax Zoning Code i71ay appear and be heard at the public hearing at the city council
meeting on February 13, 2024 at 6:00 PM at Fairfax City Hall at 300 80`�' Street Court, Fairfax, Iowa
NOW, TH�RETORE, B� IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Fairfax, Iowa, that
this confirms that the city council arder the publication of � notice of public hearing to be held on Tebruary
13, 2024, pertaining to revising the Fairfax Zoning Code.
BE IT TURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk/Treasurer are hereby authorized
and directed to execute said resolution.
