RESOLUTION SETTING THE TIME AND PLACE FOR A PUBLIC
HEARING FOR T�HE PURPOSE OF SOLICITING WRITTEN AND ORAL
COMMENTS ON 2024 WATER MAIN EXTENSION UNDER UNION
PACIFIC RAILROAD PROJECT
BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Fairfax, Iowa, that plans,
specifications, foi�n of contract, and opinion of probable cost for the 2024 Water Main Extension
Under Union Pacific Railroad Project have been filed with the City Clerk; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Public Hearing for the plans, specifications,
foi-�n of contract, and opinion of probable cost for the 2024 Water Main Extension Under Union
Pacific Railroad Project shall be held at tlle City Council Meeting on Tuesday, February 13, 2024,
at 6:00 PM at Fairfax City Hall.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Fairfax,
Iowa, that this confirms that the city council order the publication of a notice of public hearing to
be held on February 13, 2024, pertaining to the 2024 Water Main Extension Under Union Pacific
Railroad Project.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk/Treasurer are hereby
authorized and directed to execute said resolution.
