A RESOLUTION TO ADOPT A REVISED
FUTURE LAND USE MAP, AS PART OF TI-IE COMP PLAN, FOR THE
CITY OF FAIRFAX, IOWA
WHEREAS, the Fairfax P1amling and Zoning Coinmission a��d Fairfax City Council have
reviewed the current Fairfax Future Land Use Map, as part of tlle Colnp PIai1; and
WHEREAS, the Fairfax Planning and Zoning Commission has recominended adoption of
a revised Fairfax Future Land Use Map, as part of the Comp Plan; and
WHEREAS, the City of Fairfax has advertised a public hearing regarding the adoption of
a revised Fairfax Future Land Use Map, as part of the Coinp Plan; and
WHEREAS, the City of Fairfax has held a public hearing regarding the adoption of a
revised Fairfax Future Land Use Map, as part of the Comp Plan, on February 13, 2024.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Fairfax does hereby adopt a
revised Fairfax Future Land Use Map, as part of the Comp Plan, as recommended by the Fairfax
Planning and Zoning.
SE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Fairfax, Iowa, that
the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby directed to certify this resolution of adoption and see copies
of the revised Fairfax Future Land Use Map, as part of the Coinp P1an, are dish�ibuted to other
entities as required by the Code of Iowa.
