RESOLUTION APPROVING CLOSING THE FARM OPERATIONS SAVINGS
ACCOUNT AT CEDAR RAPIDS BANK AND TRUST
WHEREAS, the City Council of Fairfax, Iowa previously had a savings account
at Guaranty Bank and Trust; and
WHEREAS, Guaranty Bank and Trust was purchased by Cedar Rapids Bank and
Trust; and
WHEREAS, the City of Fairfax no longer leases City Hall from Cedar Rapids
Bank and Trust and therefore does not need to maintain a bank account there.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
Fairfax, Iowa, that the City of Fairfax authorizes the city clerk/treasurer to close the savings
account at Cedar Rapids Bank and Trust and transfer this Farm Operations Fund money
into the Farm Operations Fund's checking account.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the Fairfax City Council of the City of
Fairfax, Iowa, that the Mayor and City Clerk/Treasurer are hereby authorized and directed
to execute this resolution of approval.
