R�SOLUTION ESTABLISHING RENTAL
HOUSING FEES
WHEREAS, the City of Fairfax has established a Rental Housing Progra�n; a��d
WHEREAS, the City of Fairfax wishes to off-set costs of establishing a Rental Housing
Program by i-equii-in� the owner of the properties to pay a registration fee and an inspection fee;
and
WHEREAS, t�he City of Fairfax has established rental housing fees as follows,
Annual Registration fee $100 per parcel
Inspection fee $50 pei- Llnit
Re-inspection fee $100 per Llnit, first and second iilspectioils to be no additioi�al fee
Coinplaint investigation $85 per unit, if complaint is found to be valid
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Fairfax,
Iowa, to collect Rental Housing Fees as stated.
BE IT FDRTHER RESOLVED, by the Fairfax City Council of the City of Fairfax,
Iowa, that��the Mayor and City Clerk/Treasurer are hereby authorized aild directed to execute
both this resolution and the Agreement.
