A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN APPLICATION AND AGREEMENT TO
PERFORM WORK WITHIN STATE HIGHWAY RIGHT-OF-WAY FROM
IOWA SNOWDRIFTERS
WHEREAS, the Iowa Snowdrifters have submitted an Application and Agreement
to Perform Work within State Highway Right-of-Way to mow, sign, and groom
snowmobile trails along sections of Iowa highways; and
WHEREAS, since some of this work will be within the City of Fairfax, the Iowa
Department of Transportation is requiring the City of Fairfax sign off on this Application
and Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the City of Fairfax approves the
proposed work and this Application and Agreement between the IDOT and Iowa
Snowdrifters.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the Fairfax City Council that the Mayor is
hereby authorized to sign the attached Application and Agreement
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the Fairfax City Council of the City of
Fairfax, Iowa, the Mayor and City Clerk/Treasurer are hereby authorized and directed to
execute said Resolution.
