HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESOLUTION NO. 2024-86RESOLUTION NO. 2024-86 RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING PARK RESERVATION FEES WHEREAS, the City of Fairfax has several park facilities that are available for use; and WHEREAS, the City of Fairfax needs to establish the park fee schedule and procedure for the collection of these fees; and WHEREAS, the Mayor or Parks and Recreation Director may, at their discretion, reduce or waive the cost to use these facilities for civic or non-profit organizations; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Fairfax City Council does hereby establish the following schedule of fees and procedures for reservations of the City of Fairfax Park facilities: Prairie Creek Park Pavilion -$50.00 reservation fee for non-Fairfax residents. Reservations can be made through the city clerk's office. The name, date, and time of the reservation will be posted prior to the date. Hawks Ridge Park Pavilion -$90.00 reservation fee for non-Fairfax residents. Reservations can be made through the city clerk's office. The name, date, and time of the reservation will be posted prior to the date. City Park Pavilion -$75.00 reservation fee for non-Fairfax residents. Reservations can be made through the city clerk's office. The Fairfax Parks & Recreation schedule will be consulted before the reservation is made. The name, date, and time of the reservation will be posted prior to the date. Fairfax Re iog nal Sports and Park Complex Pavilion -$90.00 reservation fee for non-Fairfax residents. Reservations can be made through the city clerk's office. The Fairfax Park & Recreation schedule will be consulted before the reservation is made. The name, date, and time of the reservation will be posted prior to the date. The baseball/ softball fields at the Sports Complex may be available for rent for $30.00 for Fairfax residents and non-Fairfax residents. Reservations must be made through Fairfax City Hall. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Fairfax, Iowa, that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute said Resolution.
