HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESOLUTION NO. 2023-03RESOLUTION NO. 2023-03 RESOLUTION APPROVING WAGES FOR NON-FIRE DEPARTMENT CITY EMPLOYEES WHEREAS, the City Council discussed wages during their meeting on January 10, 2023 and decided to add 5% plus $1.00 per hour for all of the full-time, non-library employees as of January l, 2023 as well as a $1.50 per hour raise for Jace Merta and Jaden Eiselstein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED; the wages were set for each employee as follows: Kevin Stensland, W/WW Supervisor Chris Philipp, Building Department Official Cynthia Stimson, City Clerk/Treasurer Lynn Miller, Public Works Supervisor Brian Merta, Public Works II Brandon Lefebure, Public Works 1 Joe Kell, Parks & Recreation Director Dallas Chandler, Public Works I Tina Rosekrans, Office Assistant Leif Stensland, Public Works I Staci Klinefelter, Utility Clerk Jace Merta, Part-time Seasonal Jaden Eiselstein, Part-time Seasonal Cathy Bayne, Library Director Beth Wilz, Librarian Assistant Joel Barnhart, Librarian Assistant Kathleen Patterson, Library Assistant Jackie Stallman, Library Assistant Janet Volesky, Library Custodian $44.75 per hour, effective January 1, 2023 $38.13 per hour, effective January 1, 2023 $34.86 per hour, effective January 1, 2023 $34.68 per hour, effective January l, 2023 $32.64 per hour, effective January 1, 2023 $27.22 per hour, effective January 1, 2023 $26.21 per hour, effective January 1, 2023 $24.52 per hour, effective January 1, 2023 $22.27 per hour, effective January 1, 2023 $22.00 per hour, effective January l, 2023 $21.72 per hour, effective January 1, 2023 $19.09 per hour, effective January 1, 2023 $17.48 per hour, effective January 1, 2023 $27.75 per hour, effective January 1, 2022 $20.11 per hour, effective January 1, 2022 $18.19 per hour, effective January 1, 2022 $15.47 per hour, effective January l, 2022 $17.05 per hour, effective January 1, 2022 $20.00 per hour, effective January 1, 2023 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the city staff is hereby authorized to issue payroll checks and make all required supporting payroll payments as required per the personnel manual or required by law. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Fairfax, Iowa, that the Mayor Pro Tempore and City Clerk/Treasurer are hereby authorized and directed to execute said Resolution.
