A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING COMMERCIAL INSURANCE
COVERAGE FOR THE CITY OF FAIRFAX
WHEREAS, the City of Fairfax needs to have commercial insurance coverage; and
WHEREAS, the agency of Wilson Hite Insurance Incorporated has presented a renewal
for the City of Fairfax's property, portable equipment, general liability, automobile, commercial
umbrella, worker's compensation, and fire department PAK insurance, for a current quote of
$117,786.00;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Fairfax,
Iowa, that the City of Fairfax renews their commercial insurance coverages for: property, portable
equipment, general liability, automobile, commercial umbrella, worker's compensation, and the
fire department with Wilson Hite Insurance Incorporated, per the quote of $117,786.00, submitted
on March 21, 2023.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor Pro Tempore and City Clerk/Treasurer
are hereby authorized and directed to execute said resolution.
