RESOLUTION FOR THE AWARD OF THE 2023 ELEVATED WATER
STORAGE TANK PAINTING, MAINTENANCE, & REPAIRS PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City received the following bids on
2:00 pm for the construction of the Elevated Water Storage
Repairs project:
Bidder Bid Price
MW Cole Construction, LLC $343,500.00
Viking Painting, LLC $363,500.00
O&J Coatings, Inc. $394,000.00
Tank Pro, Inc. $419,606.00
The Osseo Construction Co. LLC $422,000.00
Classic Protective Coatings, Inc. $434,100.00
TMI Coatings, Inc. $564,000.00
AO Industrial Solutions, LLC -
Wednesday, April 19th, 2023 at
Tank Painting, Maintenance, &
Bid received from AO Industrial Solutions, LLC was not read. Bid Security was not
submitted in a separate envelope from the bid form.
WHEREAS, Hall & Hall Engineers has reviewed the bids and recommends the City
award the bid to the low bidder, MW Cole Construction, LLC, for the amount of $343,500.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Fairfax,
Iowa, to award the bid to MW Cole Construction, LLC, for the amount of $343,500.00.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the Fairfax City Council of the City of Fairfax,
Iowa, that the Mayor Pro Tempore and City Clerk/Treasurer are hereby authorized and directed
to execute said resolution.
