RESOLUTION SETTING THE TIME AND PLAC� FOR A PUBLIC
HEARING FOR THE PURPOSE OF SOLICITING WRITTEN AND ORAL
COMMENTS ON AMENDING THE CITY OF FAIRFAX ZONING CODE
WHEREAS, the City of Fairfax will be reviewing and possibly revising the zoniilg code Section
1.08.C, and;
W�IEREAS, tl�e City of Fairfax Planning and Zoning Commission has reviewed said changes and
has recoininended that the council adopt said revisions, and;
WHEREAS, Iowa Code requires a public hearing concerning revision to the Pairfax 7oning Code.
WHEREAS, interested residents or taxpayers having comments for or against the proposed
revisions to the Fairfax Zoning Code may appear and be heard at the public hearing at the city council
meeting on October 10, 2023 at 6:00 PM at Fairfax City Hall at 300 80`�' Street Court, Fairfax, Iowa
NOW, THTREFORE, BE IT R�SOLVED by the City Council of the City of Fairfax, Iowa, that
this confirms that the city council order the publication of a notice of public hearin� to be held on October
10, 2023, pertaining to revising the Fairfax Zoning Code.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLV�D that the Mayor and City Clerk/Treasurer are hereby authorized
and directed to execute said resolution.
