HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESOLUTION NO. 2022-07RESOLUTION NO. 2022-07 R�SOLUTION APPROVING WAGES FOR NON-FIRE DEPARTMENT CITY EMPLOYEES WHEREAS, the Library Board voted for $1.50 an hour raise for their current employees as of Januaiy l, 2022 and to hire Jackie Stallman at $15.00 an hour, with a start date of December 10 and no wage adjustment in January of 2022; and WHEREAS, the Fairfax City Council discussed non-library and non-fire department employee compensation during their Januaiy 11, 2022 �neeting with the following decision to give a 7% raise plus a$1.00 an hour raise for all non-library, non-fire departinent einployees effective as of January 1, 2022. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED; the wages were set for each employee as follows: Kevin Stensland, W/WW Supervisar Chris Philipp, Building Department Official Cynthia Stimson, City Clerk/Treasurer Lynn Miller, Public Worlcs Supervisor Brian Merta, Public Works II Joe Kell, Parks & Recreation Directar Brandon Lefebure, Public Works I Dallas Chandler, Public Works I Tina Rosekrans, Office Assistant Staci Klinefelter, Utility Clerk Jace Merta, Part-time Seasonal Jaden Eiselstein, Part-time Seasonal Cathy Bayne, Library Director Beth Wilz, Librarian Assistant Joel Barnhart, Librarian Assistant Kathleen Patterson, Libraiy Assistant Jackie Stallman, Library Assistant $41.67 per hour, effective Januaiy 1, 2022 $35.36 per hour, effective Janualy 1, 2022 $32.25 per hour, effective January 1, 2022 $32.08 per hour, effective Januaiy 1, 2022 $30.13 pet- hour, effective January 1, 2022 $24.01 per hour, effective January 1, 2022 $23.47 per hour, effective January 1, 2022 $22.40 per hour, effective January 1, 2022 $20.26 per hour, effective January 1, 2022 $19.73 per hour, effective January 1, 2022 $17.59 per hour, effective Januaiy 1, 2022 $15.98 per hour, effective Januaiy 1, 2022 $26.50 per hour, effective January 1, 2022 $19.36 pei• hour, effective Januaiy 1, 2022 $17.57 per hour, effective January l, 2022 $15.02 per hour, effective January 1, 2022 $15.00 per hour, effective December 10, 2021 SE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the city staff is hereby authorized to issue payroll checks and make all required supporting payroll payments as required per the persom7el inanual or required by law. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Fairfax, Iowa, that the Mayor and City Clerlc/Treasurer are hereby authorized and directed to execute said Resolution.
