HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESOLUTION NO. 2022-17RESOLUTION NO. 2022-17 RESOLUTION APPROVING WAGES FOR NON-FIRE DEPARTMENT CITY EMPLOYEES WHEREAS, the Library Board voted for $1.50 an hour raise for their current etnployees as of January 1, 2022 and to hire Jackie Stalhnan at $15.00 an hour, with a start date of Dece�l�ber 10 and no wage adjushnent in January of 2022; and WHEREAS, the Fairfax City Council discussed non-library and non-fire departinent employee coinpensation duriilg their Jalluary 11, 2022 meeting with the following decision to give a 7% raise plus a$1.00 an hour raise for all non-library, non-fire department einployees effective as of January l, 2022, and WHEREAS, Bi-andon Lefebure has submitted paperwork showing Water Treatmcnt 1 certification as of December 16, 2021, Water Distribution 1 certification as of Januaiy 26, 2022, and Waste Water Treatment 1 certification as of February 2, 2022. BE IT FURTHER R�SOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Fairfax, Iowa, that the Mayor and City Clerk/Treasurer are hereby authorized and directed to execute said Resolution.
