RESOLUTION SETTING THE TIME AND PLACE FOR A PUBLIC
I�EARING FOR THE PURPOS� OF SOLICITING WRITTEN AND
ORAL COMIVIENTS ON REVISING THE CITY OF FAIRFAX
ZONING CODE
WHEREAS, the Fairfax Planning and Zoning has made a recommendation for
changes to the Fairfax Zoning Code to the City Council; and
WHEREAS, Iowa Code requires a public hearing concerning revision to the
Fairfax Zoning Code; and
WHEREAS, interested residents or taxpayers having cominents for or against the
proposed revisions to the Fairfax Zoning Code inay appear and be heard at the public
hearing at the city council ineeting on July 12, 2022 at 6:00 PM at Fairfax City Hall at 300
80t�' Sh-eet Court, Fairfax, Iowa; and
WHEREAS, the meeting wi11 be held in person with the public welcome. If you
would like to participate via a eonferenee call, at least 10 minutes before the meeting start
time, you must call 425-436-6370 and enter this access code: 759797.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
Fairfax, Iowa, that this confii-�ns that the city council order the publication of a notice of
public hearing to be held on July 12, 2022, pertaining to revising the Fairfax Zoning Code.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the Fairfax City Council of the City of
Fairfax, Iowa, that the Mayor and City Clerk/Treasurer are hereby authorized and directed
to execute said resolution.
