RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO THE
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF
FAIRFAX AND HALL & HALL ENGINEERS, INC.
WHEREAS, the City Council of Fairfax, Iowa has a previously approved a Professional
Services Agreement (Resolution No. 2022-15) with Hall & Hall Engineers, Inc. to provide site
surveying, civil design engineering, and construction engineering services for the grade and
pavement improvements on Vanderbilt Street near the Union Pacific railroad track; and
WHEREAS, Hall & Hall Engineers, Inc. has submitted an Amendment to the
Professional Services Agreement to provide additional services for the design, public bidding
process, and construction administration for this project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Fairfax,
Iowa, to enter into this Amendment of the Professional Services Agreement with Hall & Hall
Engineers, Inc. as attached.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the Fairfax City Council of the City of Fairfax,
Iowa, that the Mayor and City Clerk/Treasurer are hereby authorized and directed to execute
both this resolution and the amended Professional Services Agreement.

This Amendment made on the 9th day of August, 2022 between the City of Fairfax (hereinafter referred to as "OWNER")
and Hall and Hall Engineers, Inc. (hareinafter referred to as "ENGINEER"). �
The OWNER and the ENGINEER agree to amend the scope of services as indicated in the origina! Professional Services
Agreement and previously approved amendments, as follows:
The OWNER and the ENGiNEER agree to amend the compensation paid to the ENGINEER for providing the scope of
services as shown in the originai agreement, and previousiy approved amendments, as follows:
Original Agreement = $20,450.00
Amendment No- 1 = 9,500.00
Revised Agreement = 29,950.00
This Amendment is subject to all the terms and conditions of the original Professional Services Agreement. Upon execution
of this amendment, this document shall become part of the originai Professional Services Agreement as if bound therein.
