RESOLUTION SETTING THE TIME AND PLACE FOR A PUBLIC
HEARING FOR THE PURPOSE OF SOLICITING WRITTEN AND
ORAL COMMENTS ON REVISING THE CITY OF FAIRFAX
ZONING CODE
WHEREAS, the Fairfax Planning and Zoning will be reviewing a rezoning request
from Dan Bushman during their meeting on October 18, 2022, and plan to submit their
recommendation to the City Council concerning this rezoning request after the meeting;
and
WHEREAS, Iowa Code requires a public hearing concerning revision to the
Fairfax Zoning Code; and
WHEREAS, interested residents or taxpayers having comments for or against the
proposed revisions to the Fairfax Zoning Code may appear and be heard at the public
hearing at the city council meeting on November 15, 2022 at 6:00 PM at Fairfax City Hall
at 300 80t" Street Court, Fairfax, Iowa; and
WHEREAS, the meeting will be held in person with the public welcome. If you
would like to participate via a conference call, at least 10 minutes before the meeting start
time, you must ca11425-436-6370 and enter this access code: 759797.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
Fairfax, Iowa, that this confirms that the city council order the publication of a notice of
public hearing to be held on November 15, 2022, pertaining to revising the Fairfax Zoning
Code.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the Fairfax City Council of the City of
Fairfax, Iowa, that the Mayor and City Clerk/Treasurer are hereby authorized and directed
to execute said resolution.
