RESOLUTION REVISING THE FEES ASSOCIATED WITH THE
FAIRFAX OFF-LEASH DOG PARK
WHEREAS, the City of Fairfax has established an Off-Leash Dog Park; and
WHEREAS, the City of Fairfax has adopted an ordinance listing the rules of the Fairfax
Off-Leash Dog Park as part of the Fairfax Park Regulations; and
WHEREAS, the Fairfax Park Regulations states that all forms and fees for the Fairfax Off-
Leash Dog Park shall be approved and set by resolution; and
WHEREAS, the fees associated with the Fairfax Off-Leash Dog Park are revised to be as
follows:
Fairfax Dog Park ID with lanyard:
Annually-
$30.00 per dog for a City of Fairfax resident
$25.00 per each additional dog for a City of Fairfax resident
$40.00 per dog for a non-resident
$35.00 per each additional dog for a non-resident
$5.00 discount for spayed/ neutered dog
Per-Occurrence-
$5.00 for a replacement or second ID lanyard
$5.00 per dog per day for single visits/events
New Dog Park IDs requested during November or December shall be issued for the
next calendar year, with no additional fee for the extra one or two months.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Fairfax City Council does hereby
establish the fees associated with the Fairfax Off-Leash Dog Park.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Fairfax, Iowa, that
the Mayor Pro Tempore and City Clerk/Treasurer are hereby authorized and directed to execute
said Resolution.
