RESOLUTION FOR THE AWARD OF THE 2020 PUMP HOUSE & SITE
IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT
WHEREAS,the City received the following bids on Tuesday, March 17th,2020 at 2:00
pm for the construction of the Pump House & Site Improvements Project:
Kleiman Construction, Inc: $2,278,183.54
Portzen Construction, Inc: $2,283,698.23
WRH, Inc: $2,341,669.00
Boomerang Corp: $2,383,809.00
Unzeitig Construction Co: $2,393,000.00
WHEREAS, Hall & Hall Engineers has reviewed the bids and recommends the City
award the bid to the low bidder, Kleiman Construction, Inc., for the amount of$2,278,183.54.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED,by the City Council of the City of Fairfax,
Iowa, to award the bid to Kleiman Construction, Inc., for the amount of$2,278,183.54.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the Fairfax City Council of the City of Fairfax,
Iowa, that the Mayor and City Clerk/Treasurer are hereby authorized and directed to execute
said resolution.
