RESOLUTION TO APPROVE CHANGE ORDER NO. I FROM
OUTDOOR RECREATION PRODUCTS FOR THE FAIRFAX SPORTS
COMPLEX SPLASH PAD PROJECT
WHEREAS,the City Council of Fairfax, Iowa has contracted with Outdoor Recreation
Products for supplying the equipment and spray features for the Fairfax Sports Complex Splash
Pad project; and
WHEREAS, Hall&Hall Engineers has recommended approval of Change Order#1 as
described below.
Exchanging the 3-inch actuated rain diverter valve for a 6-inch actuated rain diverter valve and
adding extension pieces for the valve box.

NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED,by the City Council of the City of Fairfax,
Iowa,to approve Change Order No. 1 from Outdoor Recreation Products for the Fairfax Sports
Complex Splash Pad project for an additional $906.00 making the contract amount
$155,772.00.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the Fairfax City Council of the City of Fairfax,
Iowa, that the Mayor and City Clerk/Treasurer are hereby authorized and directed to execute
said resolution.
