RESOLUTION APPROVING THE SITE PLAN OF IMPROVEMENTS,
DRAINAGE REPORT, AND SITE LIGHTING PLAN FOR THE
PROPOSED IMPROVEMENTS FOR ALLIANT ENERGY
TRANSPORTATION (AET) IN THE CITY OF FAIRFAX, LINN COUNTY,
IOWA
WHEREAS, the site plan of improvements, drainage report, and site lighting plan for the
Proposed Improvements of the Alliant Energy Transportation (AET) warehouse, office building,
and the related site improvements have been submitted to the City of Fairfax by Jed Schnoor,
P.E. with Schnoor Bonifazi Engineering and Surveying, on behalf of AET; and
WHEREAS, Hall and Hall Engineers, Inc. has reviewed said site plan of improvements,
drainage report, and site lighting plan and they appear to be in general conforinance with the
City's design standards; and
WHEREAS, Hall and Hall Engineers, Inc. has submitted review comments to Jed
Schnoor dated August 14, 2020; and
WHEREAS, Hall and Hall Engineers, Inc. has recommended approval of the site plan of
improvements, drainage report, and site lighting plan for the proposed AET warehouse, office
building, and related site improvements with the following conditions:
1. That the Owner/Developer addresses the review comments for the site plan of
improvements, the drainage report, and the site lighting plan in the review letter dated
August 14, 2020.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Fairfax, Iowa,
that the plan of improvements, drainage report, and site lighting plan for the proposed
improvements for the AET warehouse, office building, and the related site improvements with
the following conditions:
1. That the Owner/Developer addresses the review comments for the site plan of
improvements, the drainage report, and the site lighting plan in the review letter dated
August 14, 2020.
are hereby acknowledged and approved on the part of the City of Fairfax, Linn County, Iowa.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the City Council of Fairfax, Iowa, that the Mayor
and the City Clerk/Treasurer are hereby authorized and directed to execute said Resolution.
