The cost estimate of the Ground Storage Tank was$7,271.50 and the final cost was$9,420.75.The estimate was based on projects of similar nature and magnitude. The largest contributing factor to going over budget was the fact that we anticipated 6 concrete pours but due to the contractors scheduling we ended up at 15 concrete pours. With the increase in the concrete pours this also means an increase in cylinders cast and more sample pickups. The cost estimate of the Ground Storage Tank Pump House was $4,069 and the final cost was$9,296.75.The estimate was based on discussions between Terracon and Hall and Hall. On the soil side we conducted 8 more trips than anticipated for compaction testing and had to run 4 more proctors than anticipated. Of those 8 extra trips .3 were due to the contractor failing compaction which resulted in retesting. As for the concrete we planned on 20 cylinders to be brought in and broke, but the final number came to 50. -Services: ---- _ ---- - Terracon Rep.: "Phomas Shockley Reported To: Contractor: Report Distribution: (1)Hall&,Hall f.nginecls Inc,Shane (1)Hall&Ball rilginecrs Inc,,Ion Larson J Wicks,11.1: - // (I)Preload I.LC,Chris I.ocI hau Reviewed(3y: / 1P- '`,.` -.. .
