RESOLUTION APPROVING BELLON-AFRICA REAL PROPERTY
DONATION AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, Bellon-Africa Family Farms, L.C., the Howard Frank Bellon Jr. Revocable
Trust and the Nancy Kay Africa Revocable Trust (collectively the "Donors") have generously
expressed a desire to donate to the City of Fairfax (the "City") an interest in an approximate one
hundred and eighty acre parcel of real estate (the "Property"); and
WHEREAS, the Donors and City have discussed the interest that will be donated as well
as restrictions placed on the use of the Property, all of which are to be contained in the REAL
PROPERTY DONATION AGREEMENT that is attached hereto as Exhibit A (the Donation
Agreement"); and
WHEREAS, the City and Donors have reached agreement on the final terms and
conditions of the Donation Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council does hereby approve
and enter into the Donation Agreement with the Donors.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the City Council that the Mayor and City Clerk are
hereby authorized and directed to execute this Resolution and the Donation Agreement.
