WHEREAS, the City of Fairfax, Iowa, desires to submit a proposed
Ordinance to the electors of the City of Fairfax, Iowa, for considera-
tion. The Ordinance, if approved., would grant Starwest, Inc. , the non-
exclusive right and authority to construct, operate, maintain, repair,
replace, renew, reconstruct and remove a cable television system across
public property in the city limits of the City of Fairfax, Iowa. The
proposed Ordinance is attached hereto.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Fairfax,
Iowa, as follows: The attached Ordinance shall be submitted to the
electors of the City of Fairfax, Iowa, at an election to be held at the
City Hall, Fairfax, Linn County, Iowa, on a date to be set, at which
time the polls for voting shall be open from 7A.M. to 8 P.M.
