WHEREAS , the State Legislature passed Senate File No .
2228 effective July 1, 1984 regarding manufactured homes ,
and
WHEREAS, the City of Fairfax passed Resolution No . 8284
on August 2 , 1984 declaring a moratorium on the issuance of
permits :For mobile homes , as defined in Section. 6 . 71. 02 of
the City Code , outside of mobile home parks until such
{.pPJ_. , cable ordinances , regulations , restrictions and other
standards are more specifically defined by the City Council ,
to be accomplished by no later than Decc-tuber 31. , 1984 , and
WHEREAS , the City Council needs additional time to
study, "ormulate and pass such ordinances , regulations ,
restrictions and other standards .
BE IT RESOLVED 8Y THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FAIRFAX that the moratorium referred to in Resolution No .
8284 passed the 2nd day of August , 1984, is continued and
extended until such applicable ordinances , regulations ,
restrictions and other standards are more specifically
defined by the City Council , to be accomplished by no later
than July 31. , 1985 .
