WHEREAS, The City of Fairfax, owners of the following described
Propeoty :
The North 10 . 0 feet of the North 75 . 0 feet of the Chicago and
North Western Transportation Company right of way in the Southwest
Quarter of +:he Southwest Quarter of Section 1.0 , Township 81 North ,
Range 8 Wes , Linn. County, Iowa and the North 35 . 0 feet of the
Nortk 100 . 0 feet of the Chicago and North Western Transportation
amp my right of way in the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest
Qwaiter_ of Section. '1.0 , Township 82 North, Range 8 West , Linn County ,
l. wa , except the East 216 . 4 feet thereof (this exception being from
Railroad Station 390+50 to West end of the bridge at Station 392 , 55 . 4 )
WHEREAS , it appears desirable and in the best interest of the City
of Fnirfax , that said property referred to in said application bre anp exed
to the City of Fairfax, at this time , now therefore :
P! fT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAIRF'AX, TOWA :

Code of Iowa 1985 , and such property shall hereinafter he and become
part of the City of Fairfax, IOwa
BE t"°T FURTHER RESOLVED, that said property will be Annexed with the
zoning classification of Rural Restricted District ( "A—1")
BE IT FURTIER RESOLVED, that the Ci.tyClerk be authorized and directod
to file a certified copy of this resolution to geather with the application
of the owners , with the Linn County Recorder and thereafter to be filed
with the Linn County Auditor
