WHEREAS , the City of Fairfax, Iowa, desires to employ
Whitters Turf Farm, Inc. to dig and shape a storm water runoff
ditch (consisting of approximately seven thousand cubic
yards ) from the intersection of Fairfax Road. and Linn Street
for a distance of approximately two thousand two hundred
feet to the tributary of Prairie Creek in Fairfax, Iowa ; and
WHEREAS , Whitters Turf Farm, Inc . has agreed to dig,
and shape the storm water runoff ditch as described above
at a cost of Ten Thousand Dollars ( $10, 000) 9
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
Fairfax, Iowa, as follows :
That the City of Fairfax, Iowa, upon motion duly considered,
Hereby authorizes the Mayor of the City of Fairfax, Iowa,
to execute the attached Agreement on behalf of the City of
Fairfax, Iowa .
