RESOLUTIW APPROVING FLAT
WHEREAS, a Plat of EMIL MERTA'S FIRST ADDITION TO LINN COUNTY, IOWA, contain-
ing One (1) lot, has been :filed-with the Cary Clerk and after consideration the
same is found to be correct and in accordance with the provisions of the laws of
the State of Iowa, and the ordinances of the City of Fairfax, Iowa, in relation
to Plats and Additions to Cities,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF FAIRFAX, IOWA, that the
said Plat and dedications of said EMIL' MERTA'S FIRST ADDITION.TO LINN COUNTY, .IOWA,
be and the same is hereby acknowledged ':and approved;on :the-part of the City of Fairfax,
Iowa, and the street therein shown be, and .. s,her� y accepted, and the Mayor and City

Clerk are hereby directed to certify this Resolution -of Approval and affix the same
to said Plat as bylaw provided.

RESOLUTION DIRECTING THE .CLERK TO ':PUBLISH-:NOT.ICE OF
HEARING 'ON THE I ADOPTION OF THE .PROPOSED '"CODE . OF
ORDINANCES OF .THE 'CITY 'OF ;FAIRFAX, ;IOWA, 1989. ".
WHEREAS, the council has caused to be prepared and filed with
.:the city clerk copies of the proposed 'CpDE OF ORDINANCES OF
THE CITY OF FAIRFAX, IOWA, ,1989, " and,
WHEREAS, an official copy of the proposed "CODE OF ORDINANCES
' OF THE CITY OF FAIRFAX, IOWA, 1989" is now on file for public
inspection in the office of the city clerk of Fairfax, Iowa,
.. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that a public hearing thereon
will be held in the council chambers on the day of
1989, at o "clock p.m. , at which
:. time and place the council will consider arguments for or
against the adoption of the proposed "CODE OF ORDINANCES OF
THE CITY OF FAIRFAX, IOWA, 19891" or amendments thereto.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the clerk be authorized and
directed to cause to be published notice of such hearing one
time not less than four ( 4 ) days nor more than twenty ( 0)
days prior to the date herein established for hearing as by
law provided.
