Resolution Approving the City of Fairfax Comprehensive Plan
and Land Use. Recommendations ("Comprehensive Plan")
WHEREAS, the City Council of Fairfax, Iowa has seen it
appropriate to develop the Comprehensive Plan to assist in
the coordination of future development activities and for
the general betterment of the community, and;
WHEREAS, the City Council has engaged the services of East
Central Iowa Council of Governments to work with the Fairfax
Planning and Zoning Commission in the preparation of the
Comprehensive Plan, and;
WHEREAS, the Comprehensive Plan is acceptable to the
Fairfax Planning and Zoning Commission and has been.
submitted to the City Council of Fairfax, Iowa;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
Fairfax, Iowa hereby approves the Comprehensive Plan dated
1989, and adopts the same as the official Comprehensive Plan
for the City of Fairfax, Iowa.
Passed by the City Counc '.l of Fairfax, Iowa and approved
this day of 1989 ..
