AMENDMENT RESOLUTION 3/13/90
A RESOLUTION SETTING THE SALARIES FOR EMPLOYEE
OF THE CITY OF FAIRFAX, IOWA FOR THE F/Y 90-91
BE IT RESOLVED :
Section 1 . The following named position shall
be paid the wages indicated and City Clerk
is authorized to issue checks , less
legally required or authorized dedulctions
from the amounts set out below, and
make contributions to 1pers and Fica or
other purposes as required by law or
order of the City Council , all subject
to audit or review by the City Council .
WATER, SEWER & STREET SUPT.
BASE RATE :x`8 . 00 Per hour
BASIC HOURS 40 hours
OVERTIME- HOURS $12.00 per hour
INSURANCE: Blue Cross/Blue Shield Protector200 .
The City shall be responsible for -the
first 500 . 00 each y.ear.(Sin;gle policy)
UNIFORMS The City shall provide a ,$250 . 00
per year uniform allowance.
HOLIDAYS New Years , Good Friday, Memorial
Day, 4th of July, Labor Day,
Thanksgiving and the day after
Thanksgiving, Day before Christmas
and Christmas .
SICK DAYS Four per year and may accumulate up
to 30' days .
PERSONAL DAYS Two per year. Must be used.
VACATION: 40 hours after 1 year service

A RESOLUTION SETTING THE SALARIES FOR APPOINTED OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF
FAIRFAX FOR THE FISCAL YEAR OF 1'990/1991
:BE IT: RESOLVED: BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF FIARFAX, IOWA
SECTION 1. The following positions named shall be paid the salaries or wages indicated
and the City Clerk is authorized to issue checks, less leagally require or
authorized deductions from the amounts set out below, and make such contri-
butions to ITERS and FICA or other purposes as required by law or order
of the City Council, all subject to audit and/or review by the City Council.

CITY CLERK 9.77 per hour M,T,W,F(32 office hours
4 hours non-office)
DEPU'.lY CLERK & BILLING CLERK 6.25 10 to 15 hours monthly
and/or as needed

SEC;`TOI l Overtime hours shall be paid for at 12 times the hourly rate for the job
performed. (Overtime meaning: time over 40 hours per week) Employees may
request compensatory hours within a pay period in place of overtime.
Compensatory hours shall be 12 hours for each hour of overtime.
SECTION 3. The City shall provide the City Clerk and W&S Supertendent with Protector200
Blue Cross/Blue Shield Insurance.o The City shall be responsible for the
first $500.00 ($200.00 deductible plus $300.00 ) for each person covered.

5FCTIOT' S. The City Clerk and I'&S Supt, shall be paid for the following Holidays:
New Years, Good Friday, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, ThanksgivinE,
Day after Thanksgiving, Day before Christmas, & Christmas.(Deputy Clerk-Christmas)
Cl'itiyN tl,, The City Clerk and W&S Supt, shall be allowed four(4) sick days per year.
The sick days m-.y be accumulated up to thirty (30) days. They shall be
allowed two personal days per year. Personal days may not be accumulated.
After using five consecutive sick days, at the discretion of the Mayor,
a. Doctors verification may be requested.
SFC'-!'TON 7. The City Clerk, shall be allowed 108 hours 1(36 hrs x 3 weeks) paid vacation.
W&S Supt shall be allowed 120 hours (40 hours X 3 weeks) paid vacation
Vacation must be taken and can not be a cumulated.
