RESOLUTION NO. ILILOA
WHEREAS, the City of Fairfax, Iowa, is required by law to set
aside six-tenths of one percent of the marked or metered parking
spaces on on-street parking areas or off-street parking
facilities provided and controlled by the City of Fairfax, for
handicap parking spaces.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
Fairfax, Iowa, as follows:
Section 1. That Vanderbilt Street, from Church Street to
Railroad Street, in the City of Fairfax, Iowa, is hereby
designated as the main street of Fairfax', Iowa, for purposes of
determining the amount of handicap parking spaces required by law
in the City, and that it has been determined that one handicap
parking space shall be allocated.
IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that one handicap parking space shall.
be established and set aside on Vanderbilt Street in front of the
Fairfax Public Library.
Section 2 . This resolution shall be effective upon its
passage and approval and in accordance with law.
