RESOLUTION 1891
WHEREAS, The Passage of State of Iowa
Code 476 . 62, states that cities will no
longer be allowed to replace street light
fixtures with the standard Mercury Vapor
Light Fixture .
WHEREAS, If the Lamp or Eye fails in
existing street lights they may be replaced
-in the fixtures .
BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED, by the City of
Fairfax, Iowa, that Iowa Electric Light
be authorized and is hereby directed to
replace- any failed .-fi-xture with a
High Pressure Sodium (HP'S') fixture .
THis resolution shall be „in effective upon
passage and approval and in accordance
with the law,
