TO LINN COUNTY , IOWA
RESOLUTION APPROVING PLAT
WHEREAS , a Plat of VANDER MILLEN ' S FIRST ADDITION TO
LINN COUNTY , IOWA , containing ( 2 ) two lots , has been filed with the
City Clerk and after consideration the same is found to be correct
and in accordance with the provisions of the laws of thelState of
Iowa, and the ordinances of the City of Fairfax , Iowa , in relation
to land outside the city 3, imits of Fairfax, Iowa but within two
m.-.Lies of the City of Fairfax , Iowa .
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF FAIRFAX , IOWA, that said Plat and dedications of said VANDER
MILLEN ' S FIRST ADDITION TO LINN COUNTY , IOWA , be and the same is
hereby acknowledged and approved on the part of the City of
Fairfax , Iowa, and are hereby accepted , and the Mayor and City
(71erk are hereby directed to certify this resolution of Approval
and affix the same Plat as by law provided.

Planning Commission , Fairfa.% , Iowa , and after consideration the
same is found to be correct and in accordance with the provisions
of the laws of the ;State of Iowa , and the ordinances of the City of
Fairfax , Iowa , in relation to land outside the city limits of
Fairfax , Iowa but within two miles of the city of Fairfax. , Ioaa .
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CI'T'Y PLANNING
COMMISSION OF FAIRFAX, IOWA, that said Plat and dedications of said
VANDER MILLEN ' S FIRST ADDITION TO LINN COUNTY , IOWA , be and the
same is hereby acknowledged and approved on the part of the City
Plannina Commission and this Commission hereby recommends to the
City Council the approval of the same , and the Chairman and
Secretary are hereby authorized to certify this Resolution of
Approval and affix the same to said Plat as by law provided..

designated as VAN DER MIIILLEN'S FIRST ADDITION to Linn County, Iowa, dated August
29, 1992, with revisions dated October 30, 1992, is a true and correct representation of
the Survey made under my supervision of the tract of land owned by Ralph C. and
Dorothy E. Van Der Millen of rural Linn County, Iowa, and which parcel is described as
follows:
LEGAL DESCRIPTION
Beginning at the Southwest Comer of the Southeast Quarter of Section 1 ,
Township 82 North, (Range 8 West, of the Fifth Principal Merudian, Linn
County, Iowa; Thence N00000'00"E, an assumed bearing, along the West
Line of said Southeast Quarter of Section 14, 1148.00 feet; Thence
S89017'34"E, 759.00 feet; Thence S00100'00"E, 1148.00 feet, to Point on
the South Line of said Southeast Quarter of Section 14; Thence
N89017'34"W, along said South Line, 759.00 feet, to the Point of Beginning.
Said tract of land contains 20.00 acres, more or less, and is subject to
easements and restrictions of record.
That this Subdivision consists of two (2) lots, with the location, dimensions and
courses of the boundaries thereof, shown on said Plat...
That the West Line of the Southwest Quarter of Section 14, is assumed to 'bear
