RESOLUTION 98-8-1 1
WHEREAS, Gordon Sevig Owner of the following described property:
The E 1/2 of the NW 1/4 of Section 10 , Township 82 , Range 8, Linn
County, Iowa, excepting therefrom that part lying Northwesterly of
the Public Highway and further excepting there from the Public
Highway.
did make application dated October .30, 19'97 for the annexation of
said property to the City of Fairfax, Iowa.
WHEREAS, it appears desirable and in the best interest of the City
of Fairfax, that said property referred to in said application be
annexed to the City of Fairfax, at this time, now therefore:
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAIRFAX, IO+NSA:
that the property herein before. described, and the same is hereby
annexed to the City of Fairfax, Iowa, in the manner provided in
Section 368 . 7 , Code of Iowa, and such property shall hereinafter be
and become part of the City of Fairfax, Iowa.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk be authorized and
directed to file a certified copy of this resolution, together with
the application of the owners, with the Linn County Recorder and
thereafter to be filed with the Linn County Auditor.
