WHEREAS, Glenn E . Selzer , David L . Selzer and Carol O' Brien
Crissman as Trustees of the Last Will and Testament , of Grace A.
Selzer, Owners , of the following described property:
Part of the Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of
Section 16 , Township 82 North, Range 8 West of the Fifth
Principal Meridian, Linn County, Iowa 'Described as Follos :
Commencing at the East Quarter corner of Section 16 , Township
82 North, Range 8 West of the Fifth Principal Meridian; thence
S90 00 ' 00"W along the North Line of the Northeast Quarter of
said Southeast Quarter of Section 16 , 702 . 91 feet to the point
of beginning; thence continuing S90 00 ' 00"W along said North
Line , 611 . 69 feet to the Northwest corner of the Northeast.

Said parcel contains 7 . 14 acres , subject to easements and
restrictions of record.
did make application dated August 7, 1998 for the voluntary
Annexation of said property to the City of Fairfax, Iowa.
WHEREAS, it appears desirable and in the best interest of the
City of Fairfax, that said property referred to in said application
be annexed to the City of Fairfax , at this time , now therefore :
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAIRFAX, IOWA
that the property herein before described, and the same is hereby
annexed to the City of Fairfax, Iowa, in the Manner provided in
Section 368 . 7 , Code of Iowa, and such property shall hereinafter be
and become part of the City of Fairfax , Iowa.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk be authorized and
directed to file a certified copy of this resolution, together with
the application of the owners , with the Linn County Recorder, and
thereafter to be filed with the Linn County Auditor .
