BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAIRFAX,
IOWA, that effective July 26 1999, the following valuation sheet be used to
determine total valuation of building projects in order to apply the Schedule for Building
Permit Fees.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAIRFAX,
IOWA, that effective July 26 1999 the following Schedule of Building
Permit Fees be used to determine Fees for building permits, using the total valuation of
the project for which a permit is being sought.

SCHEDULE OF BUILDING PERMIT FEE'S (cont'd)
OTHER INSPECTION FEES:
1. Inspections outside of normal business Hours $30.00 per hour
(minimum charge—two hours)
2. Reinspection fees assessed under provisions of $30.00 per hour

3. Inspections for which no fee is specifically $30.00 per hour
indicated(minimum charge–one-half hour)
4. Additional plan review required by changes, $30.00 per hour
additions or revisions to approved plans
(minimum charge--one-half hour)
PLAN REVIEW FEES FOR. INDUSTRIAL AND COMMERCL4L PROPERTIES.
When a plan or other data is required to be submitted, a plan review fee shall be paid at
the time of submitting plans and specifications for review. Said plan review fee shall be
forty percent (40%) of the building permit fee as shown in the Schedule of Building
Permit Fees.
The plan review fees specified in this subsection are separate fees from and in addition to
the basic permit fees specified in the Schedule of Building Permit Fees.
Where plans are incomplete or changed so as to require additional plan review, an
additional plan review shall be charged at the rate shown in the Schedule of Building
Permit Fees.
