WHEREAS, the City of Fairfax, Iowa and the City of Cedar Rapids, Iowa have
entered into a 28E Agreement regarding the provision of Sanitary Seiner Service within
Prairie.View Estates,
WHEREAS, the City of Fairfax agrees to pay a portion of the system
development/connection charges as outlined in Section t2(a)i of the Agreement For
Provision of Sanitary Sewer Service. This portion shall be the item of Section 12(a):
(3),Water Pollution Control $368.75 per single family residential equivalent unit,:
WHEREAS,the City of Cedar Rapids will invoicethe above charge on a
.quarterly basis and the charge shall be baa'sed on the number of lots for which a building
permit has been issued,
WHEREAS, the revenues generated from building permits issued in Prairie View
Estates will be transferred from.the general fund- nd to.the suer fund td;pay,the amount
invoiced by the City. of Cedar Rapids on a quarte4y basis,
BE IT RESOLVED,by the City,Couneil,ofFairfa , Iowa that the Mayor and
City Clerk are hereby authorised and directed to execute the. said.Resolution.
