ASSESSMENT OF PROPERTY FOR NONPAYMENT OF CITY UTILITIES
BE IT RESOLVED,that delinquent water charges are due,and that the City Clerk is
directed to certify these delinquent charges to the Linn County T'r'easurer for purposes of placing
a lien against the properties pursuant to Iowa Code 384.84.

Re: Certification of City Utility for Lien Purposes
Dear Mr. Stevenson:
As the City Clerk for the City of Fairfax,Iowa,I hereby certify that water rates and charges in the
amount of$95.86 due and owing by John Heusing are past due. The City is also imposing an
administrative charge of$5.00 for certifying and filing the lien,bringing the total amount due and
owing to $100.86. Attached is a copy of the charges.
The purpose of this certification is for a lien to be placed against the property located at
331 Vanderbilt Street,Fairfax.,Iowa pursuant to Iowa Code Section 384.84.
