SOLID WASTE COLLECTION FEES
WHEREAS, on July 1, 2002, the Schedule of Fees for recyclables collection and disposition as
well as solid waste collection and disposal services from each residential premises will be assessed onto
residents monthly utility bill as follows:
A)For each single family residence$10.00
B)For each dwelling unit of a multiple family dwelling 10.00
WHEREAS,the fee allows one (1).thirty-two (32) gallon container or bag of solid waste, not to
exceed forty(40)pounds,and unlimited recyclables and yard waste,
WHEREAS,each additional solid waste container(s)or bag(s)must have a tag affixed,
WHEREAS,the fee per tag is$1.25,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED,by the City Council of Fairfax,Iowa that the Mayor
and the City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute said Resolution.
