FISCAL YEAR END REMAINING FUNDS OF THE FAIRFAX FIRE
DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS,Resolution 02-04-09-1 designating the remaining budget balances at the end of any
fiscal year that remain in the account of the Fire Department will be returned to the General Fund of the
City of Fairfax;and,
WHEREAS, discussion during the council meeting held on March 11, 2003 pertaining to the
purchase of two (2) new trucks, council discussed depositing any remaining funds within a fiscal year in
the Fire Department general fund account be deposited to a new savings account for the City of Fairfax.Fire:
Department Truck Fund for the purchase of a new truck (s) or payment of any truck notes, including
principal and interest,incurred for the purchase of a new truck(s);and,
NOW, THEREFORE,RE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Fairfax, Iowa,
that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute said Resolution.
