RECOMMENDATION TO DENY REZONING
WHEREAS, GORDON SEVIG, OWNER OF LOT 104, FAIRFAX HEIGHTS
SECOND ADDITION TO THE CITY OF FAIRFAX, IOWA, submitted an application and
site plan to rezone from C 2(Ilighway Commercial District)to 2 RM (Multi-Family Residential),
has been filed with the City Planning and Zoning Commission, Fairfax, Iowa, and after,
consideration,the same is found to be correct and in accordance with the provisions of the laws of
the State of Iowa and the ordinances of the City of Fairfax, Iowa; and,
WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Commission, Fairfax, Iowa has.
recommended to deny the rezoning application request for Gordon Sevig; and,
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Planning and Zoning Commission of
the City of Fairfax,Iowa, that said rezoning application request for Gordon Sevig be and the same
is hereby acknowledged and to deny on the part of the City Planning and Zoning Commission,
and this Commission hereby recommends to the City Council the acceptance of the same, and the
chairman is hereby authorized and directed to certify this recommendation of denial and affix the
same to said amendment as by law provided,
