RESOLUTION
DENY REZONING OF PROPERTY
WHEREAS, GORDON SEVIG, OWNER OF LOT 104, FAIRFAX HEIGHTS
SECOND ADDITION TO THE CITY OF FAIRFAX, IOWA, submitted an application and
site plan to rezone from C2 (Highway Commercial District)to 2 RM(Multi-Family Residential);
and,
WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Commission, Fairfax, Iowa met on August
11,2003 and made a recommendation to the City Council to decay rezoning of this property; and,
WHEREAS,the Commission felt that the description of 2 RM zoning at this time did not
fit the Comprehensive Plan of the City; and,
WHEREAS,the City Council of the City of Fairfax,Iowa.,has denied the rezoning based.
on the recommendation from the City Planning and Zoning Commission; and,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED,by the City Council of the City of Fairfax,
Iowa,the Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby directed to certify this resolution.
