Resolution to amend a loan agreement
WHEREAS, the City of Fairfax, Iowa (the`sCit�� proposes to use the proceeds from its
General Obligation Corporate Purpose Notes, dated March 1., 2003 (the"2003 Noteg), for the
put-pose of paying costs of the construction of 80th Street :sewer and water extensions (the
`'Amended Purposd), in addition to the purposes for which the 2003 Notes were originally issued,
and to amend the loan agreement (the`2.oan Agreement)pursuant to which the 2003 Notes were
issued, and has given notice thereof as required by such law;
NOW, THEREFORE, h is Resolved by the City Council of the City of Fairfax, Iowa,„ as
follows:
Section 1. The Council hereby amends the Loan Agreement to include the Amended
Purpose.
Section 2. All resolutions and orders or parts thereof in conflict with the provisions
of this resolution, to the extent of such conflict, are hereby repealed.
Section 3. This resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its
adoption and approval, as provided by Iaw.
