RESOLUTION TO ESTABLISH THE CITY CLERK/TREASURER AND
DEPUTY CITY CLERK POSTIONS
WHEREAS, the City Council of Fairfax, Iowa is required to have a city clerk
according to the Code of Iowa; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of Fairfax, Iowa finds that they need to have two
office staff to handle the business of the City of Fairfax.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
Fairfax, Iowa, to establish a city clerk/treasurer position and a deputy city clerk position
as the office staff for the City of Fairfax; and
BE IT FURTHER, RESOLVED, by the Fairfax. City Council of the City of
Fairfax, Iowa, that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to
execute said resolution.
