RESOLUTION I
ESTABLISHING A SPECIAL REVENUE FUND
FOR HOUSING FUNDS(HOUSING REHABILITATION PROGRAM)
FROM THE IOWA DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
WHEREAS, the City reported the receipts and expenditures of the Housing Rehabilitation
Program that commenced in March 2000 in the general fund;and,
WHEREAS, the state recommended during the audit of the City in October 2003 that the City
establish a separate Special Revenue Fund to account for all receipts and expenditures of grant funding;
and,
WHEREAS,the establishment of this fund,Housing Rehabilitation Program 2000, be retroactive
as of October 1,2003;and,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED,by the City Council of Fairfax,Iowa that the Mayor
and the City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute said Resolution.
