A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DEPUTY CLERK OF THE CITY OF
FAIRFAX,IOWA, TO TRANSFER FUNDS FOR THE LIBRARY AND FIRE
DEPARTMENT 2043-2004 FISCAL YEAR END BALANCES
Be it enacted by the City Council of the City of Fairfax, Iowa:
Section 1. Transfer from the Library Gifts/Bequests Savings Account to the General
Fund as follows:
a. Transfer Order:
1. $7079.82 om regular savings. Purpose:Amount over budget
(*Note:Actual over budget$6797.41;reimbursed$282.41 from General Fund)
2. $437.00 from Elma Buresh Memorial. Purpose: Bench
3. $7.00 from Earl C. Fiagle Memorial. Purpose: Almanac
4. $52.64 from Doug Selzer Memorial. Purpose: Books
5. $75.00 from Ernest Buresh Memorial. Purpose: Shelves
6. $87.00 from Ehna Buresh Memorial. Purpose: Shelves
7. $3.00 from Francis Jandek Memorial. Purpose: Books
8. $15.00 from Georgia Kulish Memorial. Purpose: Books
9. $15.00 from Louis Hrdlicka Memorial, Purpose: Books
10. $8.00 from Earl C. Fiagle Memorial: Purpose: Books
11. $1.50 from Elma Buresh Memorial. Purpose: Books
12. $53.40 from Elma Buresh Memorial. Purpose: Etched plaque
Section 2. Transfer from the General Fund to Library Gifts/Bequests and Fire
Department Equipment savings accounts as follows:
a. Transfer Order: $282.41 Purpose: Reimbursement to Library
b. Transfer Order: $153.66 Purpose: Reimbursement to Fire Department
(*Note: Transaction due to error in fiscal year end balance and Clinton Twp paying 2nd half
of fire contract late)
Section 3. Transfer from the Fire Department Equipment 'Savings Account Fund to the
General Fund as follows:
a. Transfer Order: $153.66 Purpose: Over budget
(*Note:Amount was reimbursed to the Fire Department-Clinton Twp paid 2nd have of fire
contract late)
Section 4. Transfer from the General Fund to the Fire Department Truck Fund
a. Transfer Order: $2,047.34 Purpose: Amount under budget
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Fairfax, Iowa
that the Mayor and Deputy Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute said.
