RESOLUTION SETTING PUBLIC HEARING FOR VOLUNTARY
ANNEXATION AND ZONING CLASSIFICATION
........ WHEREAS, The _Fairfax City. Council has received applications from
Selzer Farms, requesting Voluntary Annexation of certain territory to the City of
Fairfax, Iowa; and,
WHEREAS,A zoning change request has been proposed by Selzer Farms
for rezoning AG {Agricultural) to 44 RS (Single Family Residential) of said
annexed territory, all of which is located at 1108 Williams Blvd within the City of
Fairfax, Linn County, Iowa., legally described as:
"SW 114 of SE 114 and the NW 114 of SE 114 all in (Section 16, Township 82
North, Range S,Linn. County,Iowa"
BE IT RESOLVED, That the Fairfax City Council does hereby set the
date of Tuesday, September 14, 2004 at 7:00 PM, or soon thereafter, for a Public
Hearing for the purpose of public input on the Voluntary Annexation & Zoning
Classification.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of
Fairfax, Iowa, that the Mayor and the Deputy Clerk are hereby authorized and
directed to execute said Resolution.
Passed and adopted this day of 2004.
