RESOLUTION ACCEPTING PROPOSALS FOR BIOSOLIDS REMOVAL AND
DISPOSAL AND ENTERING INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH CLARK FARMS, LTD

WHEREAS, on the 144 day of September, 2004 proposals were received with
the Clerk of Fairfax, Iowa, for the primary cell biosolids removal and disposal at the
Fairfax Wastewater Treatment Lagoons; and
WHEREAS, the proposal received from Clark Farms„ LTD for$97,499 if no
trucking is required, and $159,000 if trucking is required was lowest qualified proposal,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF FAIRFAX, IOWA:
That the proposal from Clark Farms, LTD for said project be accepted, and the
Mayor and City Clerk be authorized and directed to enter an agreement with Clark
Farms, LTD for said work.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS 14th DAY of September, 2004.
