A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY CLERK OF THE CITY OF
FAIRFAX,IOWA, TO TRANSFER FUNDS FROM THE 2001-2002 LOCAL
OPTION SALES TAX STREET IMPROVEMENT FUND TO THE GENERAL
FUND FOR STREET IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, Resolution 01-04-10-2 stated the specific purposes for which the
revenues shall otherwise be allocated are 34% water improvements, 33% street
improvements and 33% Property Tax Relief for 2001-2002 Local Option Sales Tax
revenue; and
WHEREAS, Said funds are held in separate savings accounts and thence transferred.
to separate funds as allocated for the recording of receipts and disbursements; and
THEREFORE BE IT ENACTED by the City Council of the City of Fairfax, Iowa:
Section 1. Transfer from the 2001-2002 LOST Special Revenue Fund as follows:
a. Transfer Order: $11,500.00 from the 2001-2002 Local Option Street
Improvement Savings Account Fund to the General Fund. Purpose: Street
Improvements
NOW THEREFORE RE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
Fairfax, Iowa that the Mayor and Deputy Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to
execute said Resolution.
