Re: Plan of Improvements: Sanitary Sewer
Prairie View Heights Phase I
Honorable Mayor and City Council,
We have reviewed the proposed plan of improvements for sanitary sewer
in Prairie View Heights Phase I and found them to be in compliance with the
Cedar Rapids Metropolitan Design Standards with the exception of the sanitary
sewer being located in the parking areas similar to Fairfax Heights and Prairie
View Estates. Approval of the plans is recommended with the noted design
exception.
The recommendation for approval covers only the installation of the
sanitary sewer. Conflicts in grades and location of other utilities and street
paving may exist. Resolution of those conflicts will be covered in future reviews
of the remainder of the plan of improvements.
Respectfully Submitted,
Richard C. Ransom, P,E.
City Engineer
